Synthesis of Dibenzo[c,e]oxepin‐5(7H)‐ones from Benzyl Thioethers and Carboxylic Acids: Rhodium‐Catalyzed Double C?H Activation Controlled by Different Directing Groups

A rhodium(III)‐catalyzed cross‐coupling of benzyl thioethers and aryl carboxylic acids through the two directing groups is reported. Useful structures with diverse substituents were efficiently synthesized in one step with the cleavage of four bonds (C H, C S, O H) and the formation of two bonds (C C, C O). The formed structure is the privileged core in natural products and bioactive molecules. This work highlights the power of using two different directing groups to enhance the selectivity of a double C H activation, the first of such examples in cross‐oxidative coupling.     

VIBRATION AND SOUND RADIATION OF AN ASYMMETRIC LAMINATED PLATE IN THERMAL ENVIRONMENTS

Analytical studies on the vibration and sound radiation characteristics of an asymmetric laminated rectangular plate are carried out in this paper. Theoretical formulations, in which the effects of thermal environments are taken into account, are derived for the vibration and sound radiation based on both first-order shear deformation plate theory and Rayleigh integral. It is found that the natural frequencies, the resonant amplitudes of vibration response and the sound pressure level decrease with the temperature rising. The natural frequencies of asymmetric plates are smaller than those of symmetric plates and the velocity responses of asymmetric plates are larger than those of symmetric plates.     

考虑时变与高频因素的金融风险传染效应分析——以SHFE市场金属期货为例

为了有效度量金融市场中因相互关联而引发的风险传染效应,并充分体现其时变性与频繁性,立足高频数据并结合时变测度模型进行分析可能是较为合适的方法。基于此,文章在时变传染效应测度模型基础上,以我国金属期货高频交易数据为样本进行实证,得出结论:(1)市场间存在的时变风险传染效应是该市场价格波动的重要影响因素;(2)高频数据呈现的传染现象受传染源市场波动影响大,而受前期传染效应的滞后影响小,该现象表明针对传染源的及时处理是控制风险传染的有效途径;(3)兼顾时变与高频因素的传染效应其影响程度与市场价格波动及已实现波动呈反比,该现象表明波动较大或前期波动大的市场受相关市场风险传染影响小。     

Imine Macrocycle with a Deep Cavity: Guest‐Selected Formation of syn/anti Configuration and Guest‐Controlled Reconfiguration

A dynamic covalent bond is one of the ideal linkages for the construction of large and robust organic architectures. In the present article, we show how organic templates can efficiently transform a complex dynamic imine library into a dynamic imine macrocycle. Not only is the constitution well controlled, but also the syn/anti host configuration is efficiently selected and even the orientation of the guest in the asymmetric cavity of the host can be well aligned. This is attributed to the delicate balance and the cooperation of multiple noncovalent interactions between the hosts and the guests. Through sequential additions of three guests in appropriate amounts, controlled structural reconfiguration of dynamic covalent architectures has been achieved for the first time.     

Scheme to measure the expectation value of a physical quantity in weak coupling regime

In quantum mechanics, the expectation value of an operator can be measured by using the projective measurement, ifthe coupling between the measured system and pointer is strong enough. However in the weak coupling regime, the pointercan not show all the eigenvalue of the physical quantity directly due to the overlapping among the pointer states, whichmakes the measurement of the expectation value difficult. In this paper, we propose an expectation value measurementmethod in the weak coupling regime inspired by the weak measurement scheme. Compared to the projective measurement,our scheme has two obvious advantages. Experimentally we use the internal state and motional state of a single trapped40Ca+ to establish the measurement scheme and realize the proof of principle demonstration of the scheme.
